The Carol L Crooms Center The CLC Cultural Activities Center, honors the life & work of community leader Carol L. Crooms. The 3 Story 5,300sq. ft.

An educational, recreational, health and wellness, & community space used primarily by Utica’s communities of color & open to people from all walks of life. building has a full-size commercial kitchen, large event room, conference room, and smaller room designated as a cafe. Using a social enterprise concept, the owners are working to renovate the CLC into a vibrant resource center with cultural a

nd community programming, a small business incubator, business and skills training, and shared office space with basic administrative support.
