We love Ms. Peterik! She's an amazing teacher and this recognition is so well deserved. Our Thomas Paine students are lucky to have had her as part of their musical journey, congratulations, Ms. Peterik! 🎶

Urbana's own Stacey Peterik was recognized in this month's Music Education Arts Magazine as one of this years "50+ Music Teachers who Make A Difference."

Stacey works with students across many grade levels, from elementary to high school marching band and more. We are fortunate to have her expertise in . 🧡🖤

Each day has a simple idea, from a handwritten note to a sweet treat to a shoutout to the unsung heroes who keep our school running. Check out the flyer for the daily lineup.

Thomas Paine Carnival Night 2026 is a wrap and WE ARE STILL SMILING.

Thank you to every single family who came Friday.

Whether you played games, bid on the silent auction, bought a raffle ticket, or just showed up! You showed up for our kids and that means everything!!

Next week we will be sharing photos, thank yous to our attendees, a special shoutout to our silent auction bidders, and a huge celebration of the nearly 100 donors who made this night possible!

But first, tomorrow kicks off Teacher Appreciation Week and our Thomas Paine staff deserves all the love. Stay tuned for that too!
