Answered prayers:

Opening pressure was normal for the lumbar puncture 🙌 🙌

brain scan remained the same and one spot was even a bit smaller 🙌🙌

His Dr is writing an official letter to the transplant board requesting to get transplant back on track and will be checking with his donor to see when it would be good for them🙌🙌

Psalm 107:1 (NIV): "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever."

And he’s off for the MRI and lumbar puncture!

This was the best he has ever done going off to sleep thanks to child life. Keep those prayers coming ♥️

He will be gone from our arms for 2 hours which feels like forever sometimes!

1 week from today Connor has his big scan!
I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a little anxious but mostly I’m just excited to see what God is doing in his little body. He has been doing so well!

Thank you for all the prayer warriors out there. It means the world to us that we have this army behind us♥️

Isaiah 40:39
But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Just wanted to pop in and give a little update. Sorry Ive been quiet on here as life has been very busy. Two kids in sports, finishing our school year, my mom in the hospital and just keeping all the kids going 😊

🙌Connor has been doing great over the last couple months and has been reporting little to no pain. Praise be to God!

🙏his skin being very itchy due to the liver going bad has increased. He scratches till he bleeds many times so we travel with lots of bandages and lotion everywhere we go.

🙏May 14 is a big day! He will have a repeat scan of his brain, and a lumbar puncture. Please be in prayer with us that he will have no sign of cancer in the brain! If we get the all clear from the scan we can hopefully make plans for transplant.

Made our way to Clevland today for a couple appointments tomorrow.

*Ultrasounds of his abdomen
*second opinion with head transplant Dr
*hoping no bloodwork needed

We are explaining the ultrasound to him tonight because he likes to have information so he can understand what’s coming. Please pray for peace and calmness for him in the early morning, wisdom as we talk to these Dr, and safe travels home.

We had a couple days of tests and doctor visits last week so i thought i would give a little update

✅ Echocardiogram results were good.

✅The sedated test was unsuccessful because after they got him back there and asleep they discovered the machine was broken😡

✅Blood results were bad as usual but not worse.

✅His muscle mass is worse, basically he can’t gain while his liver is in such distress.

✅Oncology and GI both agree we need to get this MRI in May and he needs to get this new liver ASAP.

🙏please pray for the spots of concern in his brain to go away or at the very least remain stable. That will enable us to move on with transplant.

🙏 pray for the itching all over his body to stop. It’s constant and very uncomfortable 😣

On World Cancer Day, we give glory to God for the strength of our son, diagnosed with cancer at 13 months old. At just 4 years old, he continues to remind us that God is near, faithful, and bigger than any diagnosis. We stand in faith and hope with each one we know that is going through this or who has walked this journey already 💙🙏

He came out from his big sisters room for lunch yesterday like this 😂
I asked him what he was doing and he said “I’m trying to be like Whitney”.
Let’s just say she was not amused and might need a new mascara 😫

Update: We decided out of caution to cancel Connors appointment today because of wind and slick roads. It was a huge blessing because no one told us he had to be fasting for 6 hours before one of his tests. we will be prepared for that next Tuesday bright and early😊

We are headed to Clevland Clinic tomorrow for some testing and meet with the head of the transplant board.

Please pray for
✅ clear roads and safe travel
✅patience for Connor in the car for 6 hours and ease of tests
✅the kids at home and the amazing support system we have here who are helping get the kids to piano and play practice, and keep them alive and well 😂
✅clear direction from God on next steps for Connorl thr rt se we

Connor wanted to share one of his cubbie verse here for yall to hear. He memorizes Bible verses for the Awana program and we send video clips to his leader. We want to attend in person but we are trying to be cautious about being around large groups of people and germs.

This verse say “For you alone oh Lord make me dwell in safety” ♥️
