Pratt Pond is back open for boating and swimming!

Unfortunately there will not be any lifeguards on duty, and the bathrooms will remain closed.

But you are welcome to still head down to Kiwanis to enjoy the water this beautiful holiday weekend!

*During our normal walk through of Kiwanis Beach, staff visibly saw potential algae. While this weeks water test came back well within acceptable limits, we are closing Pratt Pond while we wait for the results of the rapid water test to determine if the water remains safe.*

Pratt Pond is back open for swimming and boating!

While we closed down out of an abundance of caution, all water tests have come back well within acceptable limits and both Town of Upton Board of Health, and the MDPH have cleared us to re-open.

Lifeguards on duty from 2-4pm today.
