What motivated you to pursue your degree?

What motivated me was growing up I was always interested in law and crime shows and then coming into college I realized that it was also a career I would see for myself and I went for it. I later found out about detective work and was then what I was interested more. Finding a degree to peruse can be hard but what feels for you will always end up in your path.🫶🏽
What are your career goals/ future plans?

My future goal is to go into the police academy and further my career later on in to being able to be a detective which is my end goal. 🕵🏼‍♀️
What advice would you give to someone starting this journey?

Never underestimate yourself! You can do anything you put your mind too, the only person stopping you is you, so having confidence is key. It can be intimidating but allowing yourself to grow in certain environments will help you grow in that certain area. 🤍

What motivated you to pursue your degree?

As a first-generation student and daughter of a single mother who came to the United States for more opportunities, education has always meant more than just personal success. Through working with students, I found purpose in supporting others as they grow, overcome challenges, and reach milestones of their own. That inspired me to pursue this degree and continue creating spaces where students feel seen, supported, empowered, and reminded that they belong.⭐️🤍
What are your career goals/future plans?

I hope to continue growing as a leader while creating opportunities and support systems that help others build better futures. Representation matters deeply to me, and I want to create spaces where people feel seen and empowered. Long term, I hope to continue my education and possibly pursue a PhD while contributing to greater representation for Black, Brown, Latina, and LGBTQIA+ communities in underrepresented spaces.❤️
What advice would you give to someone starting this journey?

Your journey is not a race, and success does not follow one timeline. There will be challenges, but do not let them make you doubt yourself. Advocate for yourself, lean on your support system, and trust that your path is unfolding as it should. Most importantly, remember that you belong in every space you step into, even before you feel ready.🫂

What motivated you to pursue your degree?

I always knew I wanted to help others and make a difference in the medical field, especially within the Latino community. That passion motivated me to pursue my degree and continue working toward improving the health and well-being of underserved families and communities.🩺❤️
What are your career goals/future plans?

As of right now, I work full-time at the Partnership for Maternal and Child Health. I plan to return to Montclair State University in the fall to pursue my Master’s degree and continue growing in the public health and medical field.🫶🏽
What advice would you give to someone starting this journey?

Don’t give up. It took me nine years to accomplish this goal, and along the way I faced many obstacles. Through every challenge, I reminded myself of the bigger goal I was working toward, not only for myself, but for my children and the future I wanted to create for them. Stay focused, believe in yourself, and remember that everyone’s journey is different! 🤍

What motivated you to pursue your degree?

I’ve always been passionate about helping people and improving the way healthcare systems support communities. I realized that meaningful impact doesn’t only happen at the bedside, it also happens through leadership, organization, and creating better experiences for patients, families, and healthcare teams. Pursuing my degree has allowed me to grow professionally, strengthen my leadership skills, and prepare for a career where I can help make healthcare more accessible, efficient, and compassionate.🙌🏽
What are your career goals/ future plans?

My career goals are to continue growing within healthcare administration and build a career focused on leadership, patient experience, and operational excellence. I hope to work in roles that allow me to improve processes, support healthcare teams, and create positive experiences for both patients and employees. Long term, I aspire to step into leadership positions where I can make a meaningful impact on healthcare organizations and the communities they serve while also mentoring and uplifting others along the way. ❤️
What advice would you give to someone starting this journey?

My advice to someone starting this journey would be to stay open to learning, networking, and stepping outside of your comfort zone. Every experience, whether it’s an internship, leadership role, or conversation with a mentor, can teach you something valuable. Don’t be discouraged if your path doesn’t look exactly like someone else’s. Growth takes time, and consistency, confidence, and passion will take you further than perfection. Most importantly, remember why you started and let that motivate you through the challenges.🥰

What motivated you to pursue your degree?

Education has always been something that sparked my interest, especially when it comes to creating opportunities for students who may not always feel seen or supported. My own experiences of migrating to the U.S. and adjusting to a new environment shaped that perspective early on. Being in the classroom deepened it even more, showing me how powerful education can be when it’s inclusive, intentional, and empowering. That’s what motivated me to continue growing as an educator and leader beyond the classroom.📚
What are your career goals/ future plans?

My goal is to continue growing in educational leadership, supporting teachers, and improving programs that serve diverse student populations. I want to help create systems that give all students, especially multilingual learners, access to high-quality, engaging instruction and opportunities to succeed.🫶🏽
What advice would you give to someone starting this journey?

Stay consistent, trust your process, and don’t be afraid to grow through challenges. There will be moments where things feel uncertain, but every step is part of your journey. Keep going, believe in your purpose, and remember why you started.❤️
