Our Story

What if lack of feminine hygiene kept you in your room for days? No school for days. No income, for days. We can change that!

Days for Girls Kirkland WA is a chapter of Days for Girls International, which works toward the goal of every woman in the world having access to feminine hygiene. We support the mission of ensuring that every girl has access to sanitary, affordable, sustainable menstrual management options. This includes local food banks.

As long as there's insufficient supply, I want my team to also provide items that meet the particular needs of women with post-partum incontinence, as well as support elderly folks with minor incontinence.

The Kirkland Chapter usually meets twice each month somewhere on the Eastside, and some ladies work on components at home between group events. We often get the meeting room at the Kirkland Library the first Friday of the month, from 2pm til closing (6), and meet approx 2 weeks later at a mosque, or mall, or church, or other library branch.
