🐾 Black Betty and Her 13 Miracles 🐾

Miss Black Betty is finally settling into a safe, quiet space after an exhausting journey. This brave mama gave birth to an incredible 15 puppies, pouring every ounce of her strength into bringing them into the world. Heartbreakingly, we lost one puppy during delivery and another just a few days later. Today, Betty is lovingly caring for 13 precious babies who are depending on her for everything.

Betty has only been with us a short time, yet she has already endured more than any dog should. Despite her exhaustion, she never stops nurturing, cleaning, feeding, and protecting her little ones. She is giving them everything she has.

As a nursing mother to such a large litter, Betty’s nutritional needs are tremendous. She needs plenty of high-quality canned food, supplements, and ongoing care to stay healthy and continue producing enough milk for her puppies. We may also need to begin supplemental feeding to ensure every puppy has the best chance to grow strong and thrive.

💔 Please help us cover the cost of Sweet Emmy’s Medical Bills 💔

A few months ago, Emmy was found roaming the streets alone, hungry, frightened, and heavily pregnant. She was very sick and struggling to survive while carrying her babies. With no one coming for her and nowhere safe to go, she was trapped and brought into rescue just in time.

Not long after, Emmy gave birth to nine beautiful puppies. We hoped and prayed for a happy ending, but heartbreak struck this little family. Despite everyone’s best efforts, six of her precious babies were lost. Only three survived.

Through all the loss, Emmy has continued to be a loving, devoted mama. Now that her surviving puppies are growing stronger, it is finally time for Emmy to receive the veterinary care she desperately needs and should have had long ago.

Between Emmy’s medical treatment, vaccinations, testing, medications, spay surgery, and the care and vetting of her three surviving puppies, the bills are quickly adding up. As a small rescue, we simply cannot do this alone.

Today, we are asking for your help.

Every dollar donated helps provide medical care for Emmy and her babies. Every share helps spread her story. Every act of kindness helps give this sweet mama the future she deserves.

What an incredible journey for Black Betty. ❤️

After 14 deliveries and 13 precious puppies safely welcomed into the world, we are hopeful that Miss Betty is finally finished and can get the rest she so desperately deserves.

She is exhausted, hungry, and sleepy after everything she has been through, and we are keeping a very close eye on her to ensure she continues to recover well. Our priority now is making sure she stays comfortable, hydrated, and supported as she cares for her newborn babies.

Betty has shown remarkable strength over the past 24 hours, and we could not be prouder of this sweet mama. 🩷🐾

Please continue to keep Miss Betty and her 13 puppies in your thoughts and prayers. We will provide updates as she rests, recovers, and enjoys these first precious moments with her little ones.

We have so much going on at the rescue this week! ❤️🐾

Of course, we have our everyday activities caring for all of our precious babies, but that’s just the beginning. We are also working hard on repairs and improvements to make sure every dog in our care has a safe, comfortable place to rest, play, and heal.

Behind the scenes, we’re implementing a new software program to help us keep track of everything happening with our little angels—their medical care, progress, adoptions, and all the important details that help us give them the best possible care.

Most importantly, we have several wonderful dogs currently available for adoption, with even more coming soon! Every one of them is waiting for a loving family to call their own.

And of course… we are still on BABY WATCH with Black Betty! 🖤🐶 We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of her puppies, and trust us, when that update comes, you won’t want to miss it. We are all counting down the days and keeping a close eye on our sweet mama-to-be.
