ATTENTION WAYNE COUNTY, NC
Weather forecasts are calling for freezing temperatures, snow, sleet, and possible power outages from this weekend through the first part of next week.
If you see outdoor pets, or know of neighbors or friends whose animals may not be properly protected from the cold, please do NOT wait to contact Wayne County Animal Services for a welfare check.
Once the roads become dangerous, Animal Services may not be able to respond, so early reports are essential to keep these pets safe.
Stay safe—and please help us look out for the animals in our community.
