ATTENTION WARRIORS: We need YOUR input!

Cancer is hard. No one should have to face it alone but sometimes people need a hint.

At Red Slipper Warrior Project, we often talk about the importance of a Co-Patient.

That's the person who walks beside you through the appointments, treatments, tears, victories, and everything in between.
Sometimes love looks like sitting quietly in a waiting room. Sometimes it looks like showing up with snacks, sending a text, or simply saying, "Hey...I'm here."

Today, on National Cancer Survivors Day, we celebrate every survivor who shared their photo, their smile, their strength, and their story.

These faces represent courage. They represent battles fought in hospital rooms, moments of uncertainty, victories both big and small, and the determination to keep moving forward one day at a time.

To every survivor featured here: thank you. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate you. Thank you for inspiring others with your resilience. Thank you for reminding us that hope is powerful and that no one walks this journey alone.

This week, our hearts have been overwhelmed by the incredible response from our community. Watching survivors encourage one another, share words of support, and celebrate each other's victories has been a beautiful reminder of why the Red Slipper Warrior Project exists.

Today, we honor your journey. We honor your strength. We honor your story.

And most importantly, cancer may be part of your story, but it is not the WHOLE story. ❤️👠

P.S. As we celebrate the lives and journeys of survivors today, we also hold space for and honor the loved ones whose memories continue to inspire our mission!

Yesterday, we asked cancer survivors to share their photos, and what happened next was incredible.

To every survivor who posted a photo, shared a piece of your story, offered encouragement, or simply showed up in the comments: thank you.

We know that behind every smile is a journey that most people never fully see. The treatments, the appointments, the uncertainty, the strength it takes to keep going. We see you, and we are honored that you trusted us enough to share a glimpse of your journey...whether its remission or a milestone...we are here for it!

What touched us most was watching survivors lift up other survivors. Those are our WARRIORS. The love, support, and encouragement shared in the comments truly made our day.

And don't worry, if you shared a photo, you won't be lost in a single feature. We are working to recognize and celebrate every survivor who participated.

Lori has been a long-time supporter, volunteer and friend. She's always the first one to offer to help- and is in there start to finish because she leads with her heart and her WHY.
