Sola Scriptura—Scripture alone—is the cornerstone of effective Christian missions worldwide. God’s infallible Word is the ultimate authority that guides global church planting, cross-cultural ministry, and authentic biblical discipleship. Without the truth of Scripture, efforts to share the Gospel lose their transformational foundation.

Around the globe, dedicated missionaries are translating the Bible into native languages, equipping local church leaders, and proclaiming the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. When communities encounter Scripture in their own heart language, hearts are renewed, faith takes root, and sustainable spiritual growth transforms entire nations.

Are you passionate about advancing Scripture-centered missions and fulfilling the Great Commission? You can stand with faithful global workers who bring God’s true Word to unreached people groups.

Earlier today, Friday, October 9, a powerful earthquake of about magnitude 7.7 struck near Panama’s southern Pacific coast at 12:56 p.m. local time. It was felt across the country and in neighboring nations.

Here is what we know so far:

✅ Panama’s civil protection agency (SINAPROC) reported no confirmed fatalities as of this afternoon.
✅ Emergency teams are inspecting affected areas, and health facilities are staying open around the clock.
✅ Communication networks are being restored step by step.
✅ Authorities are asking everyone to stay calm and follow official safety guidance as aftershocks continue.

In moments like this, communities show their strength. Neighbors check on neighbors, first responders rise to the call, and the church and its people stand ready to serve.

At Global One80, we believe hope travels farther when we move together. Right now, local leaders and missionaries around the world are caring for their communities through hardship and uncertainty.

🙏 Please pray for Panama.
