Honoring the trade blanket...

It was my turn, i laid down on the blanket and said "i'm offering myself, I'll give you one day with me, you choose the skill you want to learn"

Making this move put me in a very vulnerable situation in several ways... mostly emotionally as what if nobody values what i have to offer...

Well i think we made a good trade, i got to hang out with two lovely people this weekend at the , on a lovely day, outside, and make a pump drill off the landscape, using rawhide for the lashings and string and some soapstone for the counter weight and linden vibernum for the parts.

It's tree nut season and the kids eat it up... these hands-on activities give our physical mind something to do and open up space for a deeper connection to ourselves.

Proof is in the nut flour, as i sat and listened to the topics the kids were discussing, it became apparent. They were talking about real life, feelings, thoughts, ideas and opinions, not things found on screen.

Our homeschool programs have another 7 week session starting in a week. If you know some homeschoolers, send them our way, help themfree their minds.

The Basic Series had its last field day this weekend, we did a review of all our past weekends lessons, revisited our blinds for final touches, andcwe put up a ladder stand.... we smelled the foul scent of death and followed our nose to find a the final track of a nice buck that was hit by a car...
