in december, join our hackathon in 🇨🇳
fallen is a free hardware program where you spend the next month and a half building your own interactive hardware project, and then this december you and 50+ other teens fly to shenzhen, china to show it off at maker faire shenzhen. not a regular science fair, maker faire’s flagship convention, in the city where basically all the world’s electronics get made.
Hack Club funds your project parts and the whole in-person trip, so you’re not paying for any of it. it’s open to anyone 13 to 18, you don’t need to already be a hardware wizard, you just need an idea you can actually finish in about six weeks. and if you’re wondering whether this is real: yes, Hack Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we’ve already run the same kind of programs before this!
