Our SGV Care and Recidivism Reduction Services teams took part in the Los Angeles Su***de Prevention Network (LASPN) Summit at Pasadena City College last week. We’re grateful to be part of a community coming together to share resources, learn from one another and support su***de prevention.

Navigating pregnancy and early parenthood requires support and practical tools. Sycamores is hosting two FREE bilingual class series starting late September at the Palmdale Family Resource Center and virtually via Zoom.

🤰 Prenatal & Childbirth Series: Certified Doula guidance covering labor preparation, bodily changes, and maternal self-advocacy. Classes will meet on Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. beginning on September 29.

👶 Postpartum Series (0–18 Months): A 12-week program focused on infant massage, Baby Signs®, lactation support, and hands-on infant care. Classes will meet on Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. beginning on September 30.

Participants receive free diapers and wipes every week, incentives, transportation help, and celebration gifts. Members of the Sycamores Team were at the 10th Annual Wellness Together Conference in San Diego last week. Our team met with educators from across the state, sharing how Sycamores brings compassionate, school-based mental health services directly to school campuses.
