The Ceres and Hughson library branches are hosting special events designed to foster interest in reading but also offer persons of all ages fun activities aimed at community connection.

The Library offers a free, once-a-month delivery service for homebound residents of Stanislaus County who are physically unable to come to the library due to advanced age, disability, or illness. If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about our Home Delivery service, please call 209-558-7817.

Discover Summer begins June 1, and teens can kick off their summer reading with a free Teen Book Box from the Stanislaus County Library.

Designed for grades 6–12, each monthly box includes a handpicked book based on your interests, plus treats and fun swag to keep. Simply return the book and box by the due date.

Teen Book Box is a great way for teens to stay motivated and engaged with reading all summer!

We're counting down the days! Sign up on Beanstack now to be notified when the Stanislaus County Library Discover Summer Reading Challenge kicks off.
From June 1 through July 31, you can pick up a free book while supplies last. Be sure to browse our online calendar of events and join us at select branches for our Summer Reading Kick-Off Parties. It’s going to be a great summer, and we hope to see you there!
