Standing in Solidarity at Simi Valley City Hall | October 12, 2026
Soroptimist International Simi Valley & Moorpark sisters stood in solidarity in the Simi Valley City Council chambers as the City Council presented an official proclamation recognizing October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Their presence helped bring greater visibility to this critical issue and reinforced our unwavering commitment to empowering women and girls and working toward a community free from domestic violence.
💜 Together, we stand with survivors, raise awareness, and remind every survivor that they are seen, supported, and never alone.

💗 An Evening of Hope, Courage & Inspiration

Join Soroptimist International of Simi Valley & Moorpark on October 22 for a Breast Cancer Awareness Month program featuring two important perspectives.

Dr. Sylvia Fowler, a retired hematologist and oncologist, will share her medical insight. Breast cancer survivor Jake Finch will share her personal experience with honesty, humor, and hope.
