Through the generosity of the GNEF’s sponsoring energy companies, the corporate community and residents like you, had a successful 2025-2026 “Give the Gift of Warmth” campaign—energy assistance was provided for 1,233 households. Our goal is to raise $500,000 for this upcoming campaign and we need your help! Learn more or get involved at magoodneighbor.org.

Amazing night of worship and fellowship! 🙌🔥

Thank you to everyone who helped make tonight possible, to each person who came with an expectant heart, and to those who faithfully helped lead our MASS Young Adults in worship.

There was something special about gathering together, lifting up the name of Jesus, praying, sharing Scripture, and simply making room for God to move.

The Spirit was present, hearts were encouraged, and we are grateful for what God is doing among our young adults across the MASS Division. ❤️

This is only the beginning. 🙏

Check out some historical postcards of The Salvation Army Worcester Citadel on this ! Did you know that one of our original locations was a Swedish Salvation Army Building on Greenwood Street before it became the Worcester Corps at 884 Millbury Street. Today we have two locations in Worcester! Do you have memories, photos, or stories from The Salvation Army?

We are incredibly honored to have been recognized as The Heart of Worcester for our work and service throughout the community! ❤️

This recognition belongs to so many people who make our mission possible every single day. Thank you to the Worcester Red Sox Foundation for this meaningful honor and for continuing to believe in the work being done across our city.

To our church members, volunteers, staff, donors, and incredible community partners—thank you. Every meal served, every family supported, every child encouraged, and every person welcomed is possible because people continue to come together with a heart to serve.

We are grateful for the privilege of serving Worcester, and we remain committed to showing up, building relationships, meeting needs, and loving our community well.

This is our city. This is our community. And together, we will keep making a difference. ❤️

🎒📚 Nearly 300 Worcester kids served this August! ❤️

What an incredible Back-to-School season for The Salvation Army Worcester Citadel!

Through amazing community partnerships, we were able to provide nearly 300 children with new backpacks and school supplies, including 100 children served through our continued partnership with Toyota.

Our Back-to-School Celebration with the Worcester Red Sox Foundation was packed with fun and community support!

🔬 Big League Brian brought an awesome interactive science show
⚾ The WooSox joined us with Smiley the mascot and hygiene kits
📣 Seven athletes from the Assumption University Cheer Team volunteered their time
✂️ A local brother-and-sister barber and hairstylist duo provided FREE haircuts so our kids could head back to school looking and feeling their best!

This is what happens when a community comes together.

Thank you to every partner, donor, volunteer, and organization that helped make this possible. Worcester’s kids are heading into a new school year prepared, encouraged, and ready to succeed!

❤️ Doing the Most Good, together.
