✨🎓 Scholar Spotlight: Celebrating Chelsea K. Young! 🎓✨

As we celebrate 10 years of It’s Kairos Time, our 2022 First Place Scholarship Recipient, Chelsea K. Young, continues to inspire us with her journey of excellence, leadership, and service.

A proud Plainfield High School graduate, Chelsea earned her Law and Policy degree from Liberty University one year early in 2025, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a 3.7 GPA. 🎓✨

From standing on the Kairos stage in 2022 at Pines Manor to returning as an accomplished alumna, her story is a true reflection of our mission: What kind of leader are you becoming?

Chelsea has served with Legal Services of New Jersey, supported her local community, and continues to give back through volunteer work. She is now pursuing her Master of Public Administration at Arkansas State University while helping inspire youth leaders through the John Maxwell Global Youth Initiative.

At It’s Kairos Time, Inc., our investment goes far beyond a freshman textbook check. Through our IKT Spotlight Tradition, we film a custom documentary of our scholars' achievements upon graduation and present them with a generous monetary gift to launch their careers! 🎥💼

A Legacy of Service
In 2021, Jared wrote: "Life and legacy is about what you can do for others." He and his family live this daily. His mother, Abigail (Slide 4), is a pillar of our ecosystem and recently MC’d our Kairos Unshaken Conference! From praying over our founder, Dr. Hollis, to mentoring incoming classes, they embody true partnership. 💐🙏

Returning to our stage in 2025, Jared shared: "This community has blessed me beyond belief... it is a clear example of God saying it is kairos time in my life." ❤️👑

"Adversity Builds Character"

When the pandemic halted our 2020 gala, we refused to let lockdown overshadow our youth. Our 1st-place recipient, Aniya Butler, modeled her cohort’s theme perfectly. As our sole awardee that year, her ceremony was held entirely on Zoom.

We couldn’t bring her to a physical stage, so our founder, Dr. Hollis, drove straight to Aniya’s house to present her Kairos medal and scholarship check right on her front lawn!

🚀 Accelerated Corporate Track: Talent Acquisition intern at Avis Budget Group, Graduate Assistant at Feliciano School of Business, and completed her MBA via the accelerated 4+1 program in May 2025!
