Gaining Grounds isn’t just a coffee shop; we are a social enterprise, a gathering place, and your morning pick-me-up. Stop by on weekdays from 7am-3pm to check out our new monthly specials and locally roasted coffee. Gaining Grounds Coffee House opened in 2019 as a way to establish common ground between the individuals served by ADEC and our local community. The goal was to entice people into our

shop with delicious coffee and keep them coming back for the friendships they form with individuals served by ADEC. We also brew up opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We proudly employ and train individuals with disabilities as baristas through an internship program, and we display one-of-a-kind artwork created by the people served at ADEC. Vistula St., Bristol, IN 46507 to have coffee, snacks, browse the art, and say "hello" to our new interns!
