Hey, Orange County GS Leaders! Several of us attended this fun event For Leaders last year. It's a great way to connect with other leaders, enjoy the activities we normally only have space or time for the girls to do, and to Not be in charge of a group of girls while doing it. Wish I could make it this year, but I can't. I hope you will be able to!

Audience: Leaders, Co-leaders, Council Learning Facilitators, SU Admin team members (no parents, chaperones...)

A reminder to all that registration closes on Monday, June 1 for the 2026 Orange County Girl Scout Relax and Recharge Day Camp.
This day camp will take place at Blackwood Farm Park and will run July 6-10 from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm for campers (8am – 4PM for Program Aides).

Paige Barnett is an icon in our Orange County Girl Scouts. She has been a leader, facilitator, and advocate for leaders and girls alike to embrace the mission of courage, confidence, and caring. Paige has long been an advocate to get girls outdoors.
We're setting up the Paige Barnett Campership fund to support getting girls outdoors. Contributions to this fund will support individuals and troops in Orange County Girl Scouts.
Donations can be made through this portal up to $250. Anything more than that must be sent through Council to Area 9 for the Paige Barnett Campership Fund.

Orange County Girl Scout Diaper Bank Day is BACK!

We have space reserved for 30 on the calendar for a May 16th volunteer session. Below are the ready-to-share details about the volunteer shift. Let Latoya know if you have any questions or need any changes to the shift.

Session is on Saturday 5/16 9:30am-11:30am

Looking for a fun, hands‑on way for girls to explore new interests and discover what Girl Scouts has to offer beyond their home troop? 👀💚

Join us for Special Interest Quest — a Saturday afternoon full of discovery, creativity, and adventure!

👧 For Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors & Ambassadors
(4th grade and up)

✨ What is Special Interest Quest?
It’s an interactive event where girls rotate through hands‑on workshops, meet leaders from different Special Interest Troops, and try out activities they focus on during the year — all in a supportive, girl‑led environment.

🤝 Attend solo or together!
Girls register individually, but are absolutely welcome to attend as a troop experience.

💡 Why Special Interest Troops?

🚀 Dive deeper into interests like outdoor adventure, STEM, travel, sailing, and more
🧭 Build leadership, independence, and confidence
🤝 Connect with other girls who share similar passions
🌱 Stay engaged and inspired as girls grow in Girl Scouts

We had an awesome time at the Outdoor Skills Day in Hillsborough this past Saturday!

Orienteering, fire building, tent camping tips, and knot tying were all on the schedule. Hope you can join us for the Orange County Camporee at Camp Graham May 1-3!

Orange County's Camporee will be at Camp Graham and is the first weekend in May. The event will be Saturday, May 2, but you're welcome to come stay with us the whole weekend (~6p Friday to 10a Sunday)!
