Great to see the progress on our new building. Thank you to Three Cross Steel Erectors for such fabulous work. The roof and insulation should go on this week.

Thankful for a $30,000 donation from Harvest Ministries - Rock Hill, SC, a Church of God of Prophecy congregation, with Lead Pastor Bishop Gary Adkins and Pastor to the Harvest Bishop Ken Baker. This helps with the cost of the building being erected. Your partnership with our park is tremendous.

Will you join with them and help us finish this project by donating at FOWRenew.

Just a few days from now HM will be in Orlando for the International Assembly. Visit our booth and join the Association if you have not already done so for this year. When you join at the booth, you will receive a free gift.

If you have joined as a Bronze, Silver, or Gold member for 2026, show us your membership card and receive a free gift. Or join at the booth and receive a gift at that time.

If you have joined as a Platinum member, show us your membership card and pick up your mug. Or join at the booth and receive one also.

Your membership to the Heritage Association helps us to maintain and preserve our historical artifacts and properties. The annual cost of staffing and maintenance for our properties is about around $300,000. This does not include restoration projects. Those projects will need additional funds to accomplish.

Stop by and discover what we have accomplished these past two years and hear about upcoming projects. Your partnership is important as we pass our heritage on to the next generation.

It was an honor to be with my family this morning. My great nephew, Justen Bagley, completed the Calling and Ministry Studies with the Church of God and has been credentialed as an Exhorter. The Bagley family has continued into the next generation of ministers. Pictured are my brother, Richard, Tim, and Justen. Three generations of ministers from the six generation of ministers. This is heritage.

On June 13, 1903, a small group of believers met at the home of William F. Bryant near Murphy, North Carolina, in what’s known as the Shearer Schoolhouse revival area (Camp Creek region). Fields of the Wood stands as a testimony of this meeting.

During that meeting, R. G. Spurling Sr. and his son led a group seeking to restore the New Testament church. Earlier, they had organized a body called the “Christian Union.” The intent of this days meeting was to return to the Bible as the only rule of faith and practice, promote unity among the believers, and reject rigid denominational creeds in favor of spiritual freedom guided by Scripture and the Holy Spirit. This event is considered the founding moment of the Church of God of Prophecy.

From these humble beginnings, global movements have impacted lives with the gospel message. Today marks 123 years as we shout “look what the Lord has done.”

As we are in packing and preparation mode for the International Assembly, we look forward to seeing our COGOP family in Orlando. Come find us in the exhibit hall. If you sign up as a monthly donor during the Assembly, you will receive this complimentary mug to remind you to pray for our every effort. We love our monthly donors and hope to inspire more of you to join with at least a $10 monthly donation. Of course, you can always give more.

An update on our new build at the park.

Enjoyed participating in the annual meeting of the Historical Society of Church of God Movements today at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary. Great to see our beautiful park represented by a fellow attendee. Received the gift of a 1920 original copy of The Lost Link by R. G. Spurling to be displayed as a part of our historical heritage at Fields of the Wood. We are planning to have historical pieces as a part of our newly functional Sanctuary Hall. More details to come.

A friend suggested to a colleague that they should visit our park. This was the response she received back from the visitor. We are thankful for the encouragement of those who visit our park. Truly your partnership with this ministry is impacting lives daily. Would you consider joining Heritage Ministries today or give a donation at fowrenew.org? Your partnership helps us to receive these comments. Thank you.
