Back-to-school can bring a lot of questions when your child is living with type 1 diabetes (T1D), but you don't have to navigate it alone.

Join Breakthrough T1D, Sansum Diabetes Research Institute, and the American Diabetes Association (ADA) for a free virtual town hall featuring experts who will discuss legal rights at school, practical tips for families and caregivers, and answer your questions live. We're also excited that Catherine "Katy" McManus, a Breakthrough T1D Clinical Advisory Committee member, will be joining this year's panel.

Join us for a fun morning with your local type 1 diabetes (T1D) community. Families, adults, and caregivers are invited to enjoy breakfast, connect with others who understand life with T1D, and meet Breakthrough T1D staff, representatives from Renown, and Rufus the bear with diabetes.

This is what walk day is all about 💙👟

After Caden was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes (T1D), his family found something they didn’t know they needed yet: a community ready to walk beside them.

Through Breakthrough T1D Walk, Team Caden became more than a walk team. It became a way to celebrate Caden’s strength, surround him with support, and help move T1D research forward for families like his.

Team Caden is getting ready to walk again and invites you to join them at the Breakthrough T1D Walk, Reno on September 27.
