Rangers Lead the Way

Today our Mucogee Rotary Club hosted
Blair Brown, Executive Director of the National Ranger Memorial Foundation.

Blair introduced the Club to everything the National Ranger Memorial Foundation does for Rangers, Ranger family members & the community.

Blair has served the National
Ranger Memorial Foundation for 14
years — the past twelve as its
Executive Director. The Foundation is a
501(c)(3) nonprofit with two missions: to
maintain and preserve the National Ranger Memorial at Fort Benning, which
bears the names of more than 7,000
U.S. Army Rangers, and to provide
college scholarships for Rangers — active
duty and retired — and their family
members.

💙✨ Celebrating 40 Years of Service at the Easterseals West Georgia Preserving the Legacy Gala! ✨💙
What an incredible night! Last night, September 17th, we gathered at the Columbus, Georgia Convention and Trade Center for the first-ever "Preserving the Legacy" Gala, marking four decades of dedicated service to our community. 🎉

It was a privilege to see such strong support from our Muscogee-Columbus Rotarians as we celebrated our fellow Past President and the current President/CEO of Easterseals West Georgia, Lakisha Taylor.

💡 Did you know? The roots of this mission run deep in Rotary history! Easterseals was founded in 1919 by Edgar Allen, a fellow Rotarian from Elyria, Ohio. After his son was injured in a streetcar accident, Allen dedicated his life to helping children with disabilities. His vision continues to inspire the life-changing work happening right here in our community today.

Congratulations to the entire team at Easterseals West Georgia on 40 years of making a profound difference for individuals and families. Here’s to preserving the legacy and continuing this vital work for many years to come! 💙👏
Service Above Self! 💙💛
