Wishbone Pet Rescue Partnered with Allegan County Animal Shelter The Animal Shelter is under the direction of Allegan County Administration and is staffed by County employees.

Wishbone Pet Rescue Alliance’s mission is to alleviate the pain and suffering of homeless pets by providing shelter and veterinary care, and to ultimately secure permanent, loving homes for animals in need. 🚮WISHLIST WEDNESDAY🚮 The Wishbone House in Douglas is in need of trash bags. We probably don't have to explain it to you all, but properly caring for the cats in the adoption center requires a lot of trash disposal, therefore lots of trash bags! They are in need of:

🔅Contractor Bags

Donations can be dropped off at The Wishbone House, Monday-Saturday, 12PM-4PM. Or can be shipped to 165 Blue Star Hwy, Douglas, MI 49406.

💖FALLING HEAD OVER PAWS💖 At six years old, Kobe is a gentle soul with a heart of gold. He is a polite, calm gentleman who loves nothing more than making his people proud—eagerly showing off his sit, shake, and lie down commands, especially if a tasty treat is involved.

Friendly and social, Kobe brings a warm, steady presence wherever he goes. He gets along well with other dogs, though he's shown resource guarding with food and toys so he may not be suited to a home with dogs or kids. But otherwise he's been a gem. If you're looking for a sweet, well-mannered companion who already knows the ropes, Kobe is ready to walk right into your heart.

Cynder is a friendly, happy girl who loves to play and also loves to cuddle up for snuggles. She absolutely loves to play with toys — chasing them, catching them, chewing on them — she's all in for every game. Belly rubs might just be her second love in life.

Cynder knows a few commands and loves to learn. She's great with kids but may have too much energy for small children, though she's a convenient, medium-sized girl. Cynder would be thrilled if her new home had love, affection, and someone to throw a ball for her!
