Yesterday was powerful. 💙

We had the privilege of speaking with nearly 50 youth inside a juvenile detention facility through Your Discovery Place Inc. (YDP Inc.) We heard their stories, poetry, and incredible talents while reminding them of one important truth:

Your present situation does not determine your future.

A growth mindset can change the direction of a life.

Thankful for an amazing team. A good leader is only as good as their team. The work continues.

💙 Saving lives starts with showing up.

This week, the YDP team took to the community with one mission: increase awareness, expand access to resources, and help save lives.

From preparing educational materials, to connecting with local businesses, to having real conversations on the streets of Dallas, every interaction mattered. Our goal is simple—meet people where they are and connect them to support, recovery resources, and life-saving tools like Narcan.

Overdose prevention is not just a healthcare issue. It’s a community issue. And real change happens when we work together.

At YDP, we remain committed to empowering youth through mentorship, recovery support & peer support while building stronger, healthier communities.

A powerful moment for our community ❤️

YDP officially received our Narcan vending machine as part of our ongoing commitment to community wellness, recovery support, and overdose prevention.

This is bigger than a machine.
This is access.
This is awareness.
This is saving lives.

One spray can make a difference between life and death — and now our community has free access to a resource that can help protect families, youth and loved ones.

We’re committed to continuing the work, breaking stigmas, and building stronger communities together.

Big weekend for YDP.

At the Art of the Machine event, Your Discovery Place Inc. was gifted our very own Naloxone (Narcan) machine — strengthening our commitment to protecting youth and young adults ages 13–21 across Dallas County.

Naloxone saves lives.
And prevention starts with access.

As we continue expanding overdose prevention, MAT support, and recovery services, we’re also creating safe, positive spaces for our youth to thrive.
