Celebrate the end of summer with AFFA at the beautiful for an afternoon of swimming, music, community, and family-friendly fun!

This year's End of Summer Splash is all about helping our community head into the new school year feeling connected and celebrated. Enjoy pool access, great music from , and a cash bar hosted by Starlight Motor Inn with refreshments available for purchase throughout the afternoon.

From 4:00 to 6:00 PM, The Sparkle Bar will be on site offering complimentary fairy hair tinsel so attendees can add a little back-to-school sparkle. We'll also be joined by and the National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP ), who will be sharing resources and support for LGBTQ+ youth, young people, and their families.

Whether you're bringing the whole family or meeting up with friends, come cool off, connect with community, and send summer out in style.

Admission is FREE. We can't wait to see you by the pool!

“If we make a mistake, it’s not the end of the world.”

More inspiring, raw conversation between mothers and leaders within PFLAG National. At AFFA, we believe in the power of vulnerability, and that discussing the hard topics and addressing challenges head-on strengthens our community for the many challenges we face. That’s the heart behind these intergenerational conversations with folks both within and outside of our own organization— we are stronger together.

Our hearts are with Berliners as more information continues to come out about Saturday night's attack on the Christopher Street Day Pride festival that left one dead and many others injured.

We condemn this act of hatred in the strongest possible terms.

This attack is a devastating reminder that the right to exist openly and without fear is still not guaranteed. Pride is a celebration of freedom, visibility, and love. To attack Pride is to attack the very idea that we belong .

To our LGBTQ+ family everywhere: you are not alone. We will continue to show up, to gather, and to refuse to be erased. As one Berliner put it: "Today we mourn, tomorrow we fight. For her. For us. Together we are stronger."

We also reject any attempt to exploit this tragedy to fuel hatred against migrants, Muslims, or any other community. Solidarity means defending the safety and dignity of all people, not turning one group against another .

We will keep living, keep loving, and keep showing up. Because that's how we win the fight against hatred.🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🩷
