We’re so proud of the work we do and grateful to have the opportunity to serve some of the most amazing families we’ve ever met.

Our paths have been allowed to cross because of what God has walked us through with Reagan.

Thank you Armstrong County Community Foundation for serving us so well!! And thank you to the James A. Frederick Fund

💙 GRANT IN ACTION: Helping Equipment Go Further

When a child no longer needs pediatric equipment, it doesn’t have to be the end of its journey. At Reagan's Journey , equipment is returned so it can be cleaned, maintained, and provided to another family who needs it.

Thanks to a grant from the James A. Frederick Fund, a component fund of the Armstrong County Community Foundation, the organization was able to purchase a rolling five-drawer tool cart to help volunteers keep everything they need organized and accessible.

🛠️ The cart holds tools for equipment adjustments, rags, cleaning agents, labels, and office supplies, while the open lower shelf houses a steam cleaner used to sanitize equipment. Because the cart is mobile, volunteers can easily move it where it is needed—and out of the way of families during appointments.

It may be a simple tool, but it helps make an important process more efficient: cleaning, maintaining, and preparing equipment so it can serve the next child.

Equipment that serves one child can help another. 💙

We’re proud to support the organizations that help our community’s resources go further.

Busy Wednesday!!

We had 6 appointments for either pickup or dropoff. These consisted of both families and professional therapists from places like ARIN Intermediate Unit 28 and River Pediatric Therapies

We also had two dropoffs of equipment from Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children and Laurel Medical Solutions with a generous donation from Rifton.

Please pray for one family as they grieve the loss of their daughter and blessed us with her surplus items. Our Blanket Project for grieving families continues to be a blessing.

If your family, community group, business or place of work feels led to donate toward supplying these blankets, please reach out to us at [email protected]. These cost us about $250-$300 per year and go a long way in showing compassion and care on the hardest season of a parent’s life.

We operate a group just for things related to the Reagan's Journey Closet - Freeport. Parents, caregivers, therapists, social workers, and loved ones can join the group, browse the albums to see available equipment and supplies, and even post items they are in need of or want to offer to someone else.

It’s been fun to see this little community of people take shape.

We’re coming up on a decade of offering this closet as a vital resource. Today we celebrate that this group has grown to have 6,000 members!!

A great BIG Thank you to a grant award from the Harry C. Brenneman Memorial Fund for supplying the funds necessary to complete this Carpet Tiles Project!!

The two young men pictured here are Cole and Dean and they completed this project for us. They are amazing and persistent!

Also, thank you to the Armstrong County Community Foundation for their sponsorship of this project.

Prior to the installation of this carpet, our littlest clients would often end up sitting, crawling, and laying on hard tile floor while they wait for adjustments to their equipment or while their moms and dads discussed important details about their medical journey. Since the carpet arrived, we have all enjoyed our time sitting on a clean and soft floor. We can't wait to enjoy this new addition to our space at the Reagan's Journey Closet - Freeport for years to come.

🎉🎈Happy 8th Birthday to our 2026 RJ Ambassador, Bryce! 🎈🎉

Bryce had a severe stroke as an infant and consequently has been diagnosed with level V spastic cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and CVI. He absolutely loves interacting with people, who in turn love seeing his whole face light up with a giant smile! 🥰 It’s a contest to see who can make him smile or who gets the longest belly laughs from him.
He's the best little brother MVP 🏆 by going to all of his big brothers' soccer practices, games, and tournaments all year round. He loves to loudly cheer them on.
Bryce inspires adults and kids with his happy outlook, and being able to participate in similar adaptive sports at school. His big brothers' teammates ⚽️and coaches absolutely love this, and are always him how it’s going and wishing him luck.

✅ Fun Fact:
Bryce has been an RJ Ambassador each year since 2022! THANK YOU Bryce & family! 💙

⭐️ Bryce, we’re so proud of you and we hope you have an amazing day!

🥳 Please help us wish Bryce a VERY SPECIAL 8TH BIRTHDAY!
