Golden Carrot Awards This award recognizes Santa Cruz County restaurants that provide healthy food options to their patrons. Go to www.goforhealthscc.org for a list of winners.

The growing number of children and adults who are obese or overweight has become an epidemic in our local community. One contributing factor is the increase in consumption of food away from home. Go for Health! has partnered with the local food industry to increase healthier food options on area restaurant menus.
