Stitch & Chat is a Sarasota area group that sews for local cancer support organizations. We are currently meeting virtually on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. Our group was started at the Wellness Community in 2004, moved under several other organization umbrellas and is now part of the Sarasota Memorial Hospital THRIVE program..

It's been twelve years since Sarasota Memorial Hospital's Breast Oncology Navigator asked if we could supply pillows for breast cancer surgery patients. Since then, we have delivered over 5500 pillows to SMH patients. Amazing job with the help of the Orange Acres Crafters and the Venice Area Quilters Guild.
