A HUGE thank you to our Fall SEE staff! ❤️🎉🤸‍♀️

Last week we wrapped up the last of our SEE programming for the year. Over the past five weeks, each and every staff member was integral to inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards.

Things will be pretty quiet around GRP now as we head into our programming off-season and we already cannot wait to welcome you all back next year! 🌿

Unfortunately we have had to make the decision to cancel our Farm Feast this weekend. Out of an abundance of caution for everyone’s safety, our biggest annual fundraiser will not be going ahead. This event contributes the most to our annual fund each year and allows us to provide scholarships for almost 100 campers each summer. We would be grateful for any donations you are able to make to our annual fund to help us reach our goal. Please visit the link in our bio to donate.

To all of our community being impacted by Hurricane Isaias, stay safe this weekend ❤️

There are no better memories than the ones you make with your friends at camp. Let us know your favorite GRP memory from 2026! 🌟

We have been reminiscing on all the moments that made us smile this summer and we cannot wait to welcome our new and returning campers to the Preserve in 2027. The countdown is on and enrollment for the most joyful summer ever is now open! 🤸‍♀️

We understand that camp is a big investment for families.

As a parent, former camper, Senior Mentor and board member at Green River Preserve, Chris Paul has experienced the value of camp at every stage of his life. From his many different perspectives, Chris has seen campers leave GRP with greater confidence, independence and a stronger send of what they can contribute to their communities and our planet. He has been that camper and seen the impact on his own life.

Recently, we asked Chris to write about why camp is worth it and what the true value of GRP is.

Head to the link in the bio to read his thoughts! 🌟

In just over two weeks, we will be setting the tables and opening the gates for Farm Feast. We hope you will join us!

Green River Preserve’s annual Farm Feast is happening October 10-11. Gather with fellow campers, alumni, friends and family for a weekend of live music, exploring the woods and joyful celebration! 🌿

In addition to good food and good company, you will have the chance to bid on silent auction items such as registration for Family Camp Weekend, fly-fishing with Sandy and professional wildlife photography by GRP alumnae. We will also have a kids raffle running with special prizes- someone might be lucky enough to get the chance to pie Catherine in the face or receive an exclusive phone call from Ortman!

Every ticket sold and every auction bid helps us get closer to our Annual Fund goal of $50,000. We are so close to meeting our goal but need your help to reach it! Our 2025 Annual Fund provided over 70 scholarships to camp in 2026 as well as helping us maintain our beautiful preserve and powering the K.A.L.E program.

Reserve your spot today via the link in the bio! 🎉
