This week is Volunteer Appreciation Work. We have so many wonderful volunteers and appreciate each and every one of them! There are people that come to be at the front desk from 4:30pm-8pm Monday - Friday, volunteers that come and do a bible study with our guests, volunteers that help with special events and programs... we seriously could not do what we do without our many volunteers that care so deeply about the community. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!!!!

Lace up your shoes and experience something special at Race with Your Heart! Hosted by Heartline and Heart House, this uplifting event invites you to choose your pace with a 5K run, 10K run, or a relaxing 1.5-mile walk—all set around the scenic beauty of Eureka Lake in Eureka, IL. Each route offers peaceful lake views, with the runs winding through nature trails and the 10K stretching into a quiet neighborhood, giving you the perfect mix of challenge and serenity. All events begin and end at the Eureka Lake Pavilion (Neil Reagan Circle), making it easy to gather, cheer each other on, and celebrate together.
After you cross the finish line, the fun continues with a delicious, hot breakfast featuring pancakes, sausage, fruit cups, and a variety of drinks. Whether you’re running, walking, or simply showing up to support someone you love, everyone is invited to stay, connect, and enjoy the morning together. It’s more than a race—it’s a chance to move your body, lift your spirit, and be part of a caring community!

Free Summer Meals available through Grandparents Raising Grandchildren meal program! The program is designed to help eligible grandparents who are the primary caregiver for school-age grandchildren during the summer months, when school-based meals are not available.
Service area includes families in Woodford, Peoria, Tazewell, Fulton, Marshall and Stark counties. Participating requires an eligibility assessment and documentation confirming caregiving status. Grandparents who think they may qualify are encouraged to apply early. To learn more or to request an assessment, contact Jeff Nelson at 309-674-2071 ext. 2228 or [email protected]
