Everyone deserves safe food and water, clean air, and products that do not harm their health. This , we are celebrating state leadership and calling for more.

Toxic chemicals and plastics are showing up in our food, water, air, and everyday products without our consent.

The good news? States are stepping up to change that! Nationwide, state leaders are working to:

❌ Phase out toxic chemicals and plastics
🔍Require companies to disclose what is in their products
🧑‍🧑‍🧒Advance safer solutions that protect families and communities

As highlighted in , bisphenols are toxic chemicals linked to serious health and reproductive harm.

We should not have to worry about what is in the products we use every day or how it may impact our health.

This exposure is preventable! States are stepping up to phase them out of everyday products and make safer options the norm.

As highlighted in , phthalates are toxic chemicals that can disrupt hormones and harm our health.

These chemicals should not be in products we rely on every day, especially those used by children or in healthcare settings.

This harm is preventable! States including California, Maine, Vermont, New York, and North Carolina have stepped up to ban these chemicals from products like food packaging, children’s items, cosmetics, and even IV bags.

You can’t claim to “Make America Healthy Again” while weakening federal protections against toxic chemicals.

A new article in The Hill highlights how a chemical industry backed bill would weaken America’s main law that protects us from toxic chemicals, putting our health at risk.

Clean air, safe water, and products without toxic chemicals start with laws that put health first.

Everyone deserves clean water, safe products, and protection from toxic chemicals.

A new Senate bill would weaken the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), the nation’s primary chemical safety law that helps keep toxic chemicals out of our homes, schools, and workplaces.

While states are leading the way with strong protections, Congress must not roll back federal safeguards that protect our health. Congress should put people first, not polluters.

❗️A new proposal in Congress could weaken the nation’s main chemical safety law making it easier for toxic chemicals to enter our food, water, homes, and schools.

Everyone deserves to live in a world where health comes first. Chemical safety protections help prevent cancer, infertility, learning disabilities, and other harms linked to toxic exposures.

Congress should protect families and communities, not polluters.
