Summer Nights in the Garden — You’re Invited, and we have some garden plants and produce to share with you tonight.

Join us for Community Garden Nights, a weekly open invitation for families, friends, and neighbors to gather, learn, and enjoy the beauty of summer in community.

Don’t let a little rain in the day keep you away, our garden night is happening tonight. We’ll simply adapt as needed to make the most of our time together outdoors.

📅 Every Tuesday evening
🕡 6:45–8:00 p.m.
📍 West Side Christian School Garden

Here’s what you can expect:
🌱 Hands-on gardening: planting, bed care, and simple, creative ways to support healthy growth
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Kids are welcome to help in the garden or enjoy the playground while families connect
🥕 Fresh plants and seasonal produce available to sample and take home!

And yes, we won’t let weather get in the way of the experience.
If conditions change, we’ll simply shorten the evening or shift into our greenhouse for indoor planting.

Come as you are, stay as long as you can, and be part of a simple, meaningful rhythm of summer growth.

☀️ Looking back on a fantastic week of Summer Camp at WSCS!

Last week, campers enjoyed everything from Dramatic Arts and Lego Robotics to Fundamental Sports, Nature Play, and adventures at Timber Town. It was a week filled with creativity, exploration, friendship, and plenty of outdoor fun.

We’re grateful for the memories made and the smiles shared as campers learned, played, and grew together.

Just one week ago, we celebrated the graduation of our Class of 2026, and it’s hard to believe how quickly the time has passed!

As our graduation speaker, Mr. Groggel, encouraged the graduates, “Continue to be people of kindness and compassion, and go do great things, Class of 2026.” We pray that these students will carry that message with them as they begin the next chapter of their journey.

Their class verse, Ephesians 4:32, beautifully reflects this charge:

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Congratulations again, Class of 2026! We are grateful for the impact you have made at WSCS and look forward to seeing how God will use your gifts and talents in the years ahead. 🩵💚🎓

Our end of year chapel is a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness over the past school year, the relationships that have formed, the ways in which we have grown, and glimpses ahead to the coming school year.

Our 2026 distinguished graduate was announced, we thanked Principal Brouwer for her leadership over the past 2 years, we sang praises to our Savior, the theme verse for next year was announced, and we had a special time of praying over and celebrating our 8th graders.

As we wrap up the final days of this school year, may we remember all we learned and applied from the school theme verse this year….“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭32‬ ‭
