GALS envisions a world where all young women are given access to a personalized and holistic education that provides the opportunity to access the skills, knowledge, and self-determination to succeed in college and to develop as leaders in the world. GALS Denver (Girls Athletic Leadership Schools) is 501.c3 nonprofit committed to providing personalized and holistic education to all young women, ir

respective of their background, so that they can acquire the skills, knowledge, and self-determination needed to succeed in college and become leaders in their communities and the world. Their innovative education model focuses on physical movement, mental health and social-emotional development, positive gender, and academics, empowering young women to excel academically, lead confidently, live boldly, and thrive physically. As a public charter school within Denver Public Schools, GALS Denver requires an additional $1,000 in funds for every student to support its expanded programs, especially social-emotional and mental health supports during the pandemic.
