What a fun way to celebrate our students as they ran their final mile of the quarter! From cheering each other on to games, school spirit, and plenty of smiles, it was an incredible morning filled with energy and community.

Our GALS Volleyball Team secured the League Championship trophy on Saturday on their home court, defeating KIPP Northeast Denver 2 sets to 0! 🎉

It was a fantastic championship match and the perfect way to cap off an undefeated season!

Congratulations to Coach Isabel and the entire squad on an amazing season! We are so proud of you! 👏✨

Celebrating our 2026 GALS Scholarship recipients! 🎓

GALS Denver is honored to award alumni Yasmin Salih, Angelique Martinez and Brinley Betts (not pictured) with $2,500 each in GALS scholarships for college.

We are so proud of all that these GALS alumni have accomplished and we are excited to support their academic journey. Yasmin and Angelique are both studying Psychology here in Colorado, and Brinley is studying Biology at The University of Puget Sound.

We are proud to offer scholarships each year to GALS alumnae to invest in the leaders they are becoming. We are grateful to our funders, Prosperity Denver Fund and The Cielo Foundation for making this possible.

Congratulations, Yasmin, Angelique and Brinley! We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish.

There’s nothing quite like watching your kid cross the finish line.

At the Final Mile Fall ExtravaGALSa, GALS families get a front-row seat to cheer on our students as they celebrate their strength, determination and everything they’ve accomplished together. It’s also a chance to see just how far they’ve come, watching them improve, push through challenges and discover what they’re capable of.

We can’t wait to see our parents and families lining the course this Friday 10/2, bringing the energy and making the final mile one to remember!

We kicked off our first week of school with our FIRST MILE! 🏃‍♀️💨

This morning, every grade hit the track to run the mile and record their time. At the end of the quarter, we’ll run it again to see how much everyone has grown and improved! 💪

Why do we run the mile? Because at GALS, we believe we can do hard things. 💜
