Live Love Donate Inc A Wisconsin 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on saving lives through organ, eye, and tissue donation. We created Live.Love.Donate. Inc in 2013.

Inc in honor of our parents, Steve and Amy Muenchow. Our dad, Steve Muenchow, was diagnosed with a disease known was Vasculitis when he was 19. Vasculitis is an inflammation of the blood vessels and can cause a shortage of blood. This shortage of blood can lead to organ and tissue damage, even death. Our dad had two kidney transplants; one in 1991 and one in 2007. Our mother, Amy, donated her kidn

ey to our father in 2007. Our parents inspired us to start Live.Love.Donate. Our goal is to raise awareness for organ, eye, and tissue donation, educate our Wisconsin communities about the importance, and register new donors. Organ and tissue donation saves lives and our family is proof!

When we table at events, the most common response we get is, "I'm too old! No one will be able to use my organs." That's a common myth we love to debunk. This amazing story of hope proves that age is not a limiting factor to organ donation! 💚

If you live in the Fox Valley, Wisconsin area, please stop out at Culver's in Neenah tonight and support this wonderful upcoming event! I met Amy, the organizer of Remember & Rejoice, while I was tabling at Shellate's. She is a liver transplant recipient and has an incredible story of hope. A portion of proceeds at Culver's tonight goes to her upcoming service on April 11th! 💜

Also, please mark your calendars for this beautiful event she is planning. We are hoping to attend and light a candle for our dad, and his donor. We'd love for many of you to come and remember with us too.

Thank you truly doesn't even begin to cover my gratitude this morning! Shelly at Shellattés let me know this week that this incredible community raised $400 for local Fox Valley transplant families. 💚😯 I'm in awe of the support we received on National Donor Day from all of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Now we get to bless several families who are in need of support, as they await organ transplants. This part of our job will always be my favorite.

Thank you to Shelly for giving us the opportunity to talk with our community about the power of organ, eye, and tissue donation...and for matching funds. Your heart for community is such an example to us all. We are so thankful.

If you haven't registered your decision to be an organ donor, we encourage you to do so at livelovedonate.com.

What a morning! 💚☕ I'm still processing my thoughts because it was full of so many amazing moments, and emotions. Shellattés generously gave us a table today for National Donor Day so we could raise awareness, and funding, for local Fox Valley families in need of a transplant. Almost every person that walked through the doors this morning had a connection to organ donation, stopped to say hello, and showed me their drivers license. I met tons of families with a wide range of direct transplant experience - including a liver transplant recipient, parents of a two-time heart transplant recipient, 5 families with a kidney recipient family members, and a moving story of a friend who passed away this week (but is able to save multiple lives).

We educated people about the need for registered donors, and the need for living donors too. My heart is endlessly grateful this Valentine's Day. I had a lot of tear-filled conversations, but it was so clear there is a need for this life-saving advocacy in the Fox Valley. We will be doing much more of it here in the months to come.

If you live locally, Channel 5 News kindly came in to do a story on our nonprofit, and the event we did with Shelly today! The Neenah News published a very beautiful article in their weekly edition too. I'll share the news coverage when it's available tonight. To everyone who came out to support us today, THANK YOU so much!

We are SO excited to be parenting with our friends at Shellattés in Neenah this National Donor Day! We will be tabling on Saturday, February 14th from 9-11 am. Stop by, grab a coffee and a sweet treat...with your friend, or your sweetheart. 🩷 We will be talking with the community about the power of organ, eye, and tissue donation and registering new organ donors. We'd absolutely love to see you! ☕

Shellate's is graciously allowing us to have a donation jar at the register. All funds donated to our nonprofit will go directly back to local Fox Valley families who are awaiting organ transplants and receiving care. As a transplant family ourselves (twice) we know how expensive it can get traveling to and from appointments, and paying for medical bills. If we can give back locally in a small way, we are grateful to do it. Shellate's will be giving a small match contribution for donations made on National Donor Day. We are incredibly grateful to Shelly, and her entire team, for hosting us at their coffee shop on Saturday! See you there!

19 years ago today, our mom Amy, donated her kidney to our dad Steve, saving his life. 💚 This was our dad's second kidney transplant, but our mom (his own wife) happened to be the perfect match in order to be his living donor. Our dad died of lung cancer 11 years ago, but he lived 7 more amazing years of life with her gift. So today, as we know he would want, we celebrate our mom and the HERO she is for our family. Our mom works at the UW Health Transplant Clinic, and gives back each day to families like ours, going through the transplant process.

I'm going to guess that at least one person in your life, whether you realize it or not, is in need of a life-saving transplant. Tell your family and friends about your decision. Register your decision at livelovedonate.com, get tested to be a living donor, and spread the word. Share this post, and support other partner organizations here in Wisconsin that advocate for organ donation like us. You have the power to save someone's life, and change countless others by one selfless act.

35 years 💚 Today marks 35 years since our dad, Steve's first life-saving kidney transplant, on Jan 12th, 1991. He is no longer here on earth with us, but we will always celebrate this day, and the HERO donor who gave him the opportunity to start his own family. That kidney gave him 16 healthy years, where he could raise his daughters, and enjoy life. We are forever thankful for the donor family who said YES to saving his life.

If you aren't a registered donor, please do so at livelovedonate.com.
