Our advocates help families like Laura's navigate the special education system and communicate clearly with their student's IEP team to ensure they are receiving the support they need to succeed.

Recently, our Executive Director had the opportunity to attend the Navigating Autism Conference Today, along with a parent who received support from our Educational Advocacy program. The conference provided a great opportunity to learn and connect with others navigating similar journeys!

We are incredibly disappointed to announce that, due to unforeseen circumstances, The Arc's Amazing Race is being postponed until April 17th, 2027. This was a very difficult decision for us to make and not one that was made lightly. Though we are bummed that it will not be happening sooner, we are still very excited to see everyone next year for an event that is sure to be an adventure to remember!

We also want to extend the biggest thank you to those who made teams and sponsored this event! We are so grateful that you partner with us on our journey to create communities where all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities grow, succeed, and have influence!
