We began our rescue mission in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina by aiding dogs that were left homeless by the storm. Since then, our outreach has grown to heights we never imagined. Now we are rescuing puppy mill dogs, bai

t dogs used in dog-fighting, and hundreds of dogs from shelters—often moments away from euthanasia. We currently deliver pet food and supplies to more than 48 elderly people living in poverty—and pay for their dogs’ medical bills, too. We have rescued dogs from junkyards and shelters, freed animals chained to trees and living in small cages, and saved abandoned pets living on the streets. Danny & Ron’s Rescue is unlike any other rescue organization. Because testing an abused or neglected dog can only recover and learn to trust again when it is in a loving home, Danny and Ron have turned their own house into the ultimate safe haven. There, they personally care for injured and abused animals until they are ready for adoption. Each dog receives a wellness check from our veterinarian, is then spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, groomed, and loved. But most important, each dog is treated like part of the family, fed organic dog food from its own bowl, and even allowed to sleep in the bed. The opportunity to live with humans and other dogs in a real home environment is the best way to prepare a dog for adoption and a life with a loving family. We are also proud to be one of the only organizations that does not charge a pre-set adoption fee and instead relies on an affordable donation from the adopter.

❤️ CLOVER UPDATE ❤️

We know so many of you have been waiting for an update on our sweet Clover, and we have a lot to share.

Clover gave birth to eight puppies! Because her poor body had already been through so much, and she was dealing with a badly broken hip, she wasn't able to care for and feed all eight babies on her own. Some of the puppies went to one of our wonderful puppy raisers so Clover could concentrate on healing while her babies received the round-the-clock care they needed.

Sadly, despite everyone's best efforts, we lost two of the puppies. 💔 The remaining six are doing well.

And we have more good news — Clover has now had her hip surgery! Thanks to the incredible outpouring of donations after we shared her story, we were able to get her the surgery she desperately needed. She is now back at The Doghouse, recovering with her puppies and doing well.

We cannot express how grateful we are to everyone who stepped up for this little family. You donated, shared their story, sent your prayers, and gave us the ability to say YES when Clover and Ivy needed us most.

What a difference a few weeks have made from that awful day on the side of the road. ❤️

We'll keep you posted on Clover's recovery and her six little ones. When the puppies are old enough and ready for adoption, we'll let you know — and when their very special mama is ready for a home of her own, we'll let you know that, too!

Hi there, I’m Watson! 💕 I’m a Jack Russell Terrier mix puppy who was born right here at Danny & Ron’s Rescue after my sweet mama, Calliope, was rescued when her owner sadly passed away. ❤️

I’m a happy, curious puppy who loves to play, explore, wrestle, eat, cuddle, and take well-earned puppy naps! 🐶💤 I’m still learning about the big world around me, so I’ll need a family ready for plenty of patience, training, consistency, exercise, guidance, and lots of love.🏡💛

➤ SPAY/NEUTER: Adopters are FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE for spaying/neutering their puppy when they become of age. We recommend spaying/neutering at 6 months of age for both females and males. Veterinary certificates confirming the procedure must be submitted to Danny & Ron’s Rescue.

MEDICAL: Puppies have received their 1st and 2nd sets of vaccines. Watson will be due for his 3rd set around 9/22/2026 and 4th set around 10/20/2026. ADOPTERS WILL BE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THESE ARE COMPLETE.

Hi there, I’m Gatsby! 💕 I’m one of six beautiful Poodle mix puppies born right here at Danny & Ron’s Rescue. My mama, Hadley, came from a shelter before welcoming me and my siblings. They’ve all found their forever homes, and now I’m the last one still searching for mine! 🥹🐾

I’m a typical happy puppy who loves to play, explore, cuddle, eat, nap, and soak up all the attention I can get! 🐶💕 I’m still learning all about becoming a well-mannered grown-up, so I’ll need a family ready to help me with training, consistency, socialization, and lots of love. 🏡💛

✨ Meet Me at The Aiken Horse Show! 🐴🐾

Hi there, I’m Coda! 💕 I’m a sweet Shepherd mix who has been waiting for the right forever home. Danny & Ron’s Rescue rescued me from a shelter back in 2014, and after two adoptive homes, I’m hoping my next one will truly be forever. 🥹

I’m a loving, curious Shepherd Queen with a wandering spirit who LOVES to explore! I’ll need a family with a secure, fully fenced yard and a gate I can’t figure out how to open—because I’m pretty clever! 😉 I also have a serious love for squeaky toys! 🧸🐶

Car rides stress me out and I’ll definitely let you know about it, but I’m a good girl at the vet. I get along well with other dogs as long as they respect my toys, and I’ll do just about anything for a tasty treat! 🥰

➤ CODA REQUIRES A SECURE, FULLY FENCED IN YARD.

MEDICAL: Coda has been prescribed Trazodone & Gabapentin for anxiety, long term. Coda also takes Dasuquin and Summit Joint Supplement to maintain joint health.
