Highlighting our METRO Movers with Lexi!

Name: Lexi Micheau, APRN-BC, AAHIVS

What do you do at METRO?
I am a certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. I take of patients ranging from ages 18 +. I provide primary care, HIV, nPEP, PrEP, and sexual health services to our community.

How long have you been at METRO?
I am fairly new! I started with METRO Mid- August 2026 but have been working as an APRN in the field for the last 5 years 🙂

What inspired you to join the METRO team?
METRO has such as large footprint within the community. They offer a wide variety of services for a diverse range of clients with resources available for those that are in a tough place. I like that Metro really makes the term “comprehensive care” come to life!

What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about your job?
Some people might be surprised to know how broad the role of being an APRN can be! We can really address a wide variety of needs and concerns.

My favorite way to spend your time outside of work?
I love trying new restaurants ( I am a big foodie), going to concerts, and hanging out with my family/friends.

Favorite song, artist, or current vibe: This is a tough one! I really like most alternative/indie music. Some might be surprised to know that I also enjoy jamming out to metal for time to time 🤘

If you could describe METRO in three words, what would they be?
Welcoming, upbeat, compassionate
