“A rescue kitten doesn’t just find a home; they discover that the world can be gentle, that trust can grow, and that a little life once lost can become someone’s whole heart.” Anonymous

There’s nothing quite like the pride of a successful “hunt”! 💛

Don’t you just love it when their catch is almost as big as their little bodies?! 😂

Tori is quite pleased with her crinkly kicker, and we think she deserves to show it off!

Calder and Sage are absolute loves. They’re best buds, chasing each other around like lightning bolts and then curling up together as you can see here. If you’ve been wanting a furry friend (and even better, a loving pair), these two are perfect.

Want to make a difference?

Volunteering at Nahimana is about giving love, building trust, and making a little life brighter.

We love our mother-daughter volunteers, Vicki and Harper, who come to play, help clean, and shower our kittens with affection. And here’s what makes it extra special - Vicki often shares how volunteering has become a special bonding experience for her and Harper, creating meaningful memories while giving back, together.

Rescue needs compassionate hearts, helping hands, and people willing to show up. Whether you come alone, with a friend, or with family, your time and attention can make a world of difference.

You might come to give love to the kittens, but it’s highly likely that you’ll leave with a fuller heart, too.

🖤 BLACK BEAUTY 🖤

Three little beauties, dressed to impress,
One in a tux, one in a calico dress.
One midnight black, with eyes full of light,
Three little hearts waiting for love to take flight.

Their beginnings may differ, their coats may not match,
But each has a heart with so much love to dispatch.
They’re more than their colors, more than their hue,
They’re three little souls waiting for you.

At Nahimana, we believe every kitten deserves to be safe, nurtured, and loved for a lifetime. These three are waiting for someone to see beyond their beautiful coats and fall in love with the little souls beneath them.

If one of these beauties has captured your heart, maybe your story together is just beginning. Reach out to come meet Sage, Tori and Birdie!

Imagine… 🐾

Imagine coming home after a long day and hearing tiny paws racing to greet you.
Imagine a little face watching you from the window, a warm body curled beside you, and a soft purr becoming part of the soundtrack of your everyday life.

Imagine that the kitten in these photos isn’t just waiting for a home… but waiting for you. ❤️
Could you be the person they’ve been waiting for?

Happy Sunday, everyone! We’re enjoying a rainy, lazy day at Nahimana, made even sweeter by these adorable kittens—and a little yoga pose, courtesy of Calder. 🐾

Adorable, adoptable, affectionate and athletic!
Calder is the perfect companion, waiting for his beautiful match to give him a wonderful home. Please share to help Calder!

Goat or cat?

Tori says she’s just a kitten with a lot of playful energy!
She’s available to adopt and bring someone a lot of smiles.
