People want to know why rescues are having such a hard time and can't take any animals here's a quick example. We picked up this cat he turns out he's 10 to 15 years old well we brought him to the vet because he was so skinny. He's hyperthyroid so he had to get medication for him. Just a vet visit and the blood work alone was over 500 dollars. Guess that's just to find out if he's okay. So when you ask or rescue to take it in your unfixed on vaccinated cat you're asking the rescue to take on the bill you should have had. If you have a pet you should have your pet fixed or don't have a pet. Because now the time comes and they need to be neutered because they stink or she needs to be fixed cuz she's going into heat and will sneak out and get pregnant yeah Now's the Time to fix them so you dump them instead. This is why the rescues cannot take in all these cats they can't afford the bills. In our area we have five good size rescues and all of them are full why? It's not like we're not adopting out. But there's more people dumping cats than there are cats to be able to bring in. If these folks had their own animals fixed it would be half the problem we have now.
