Dont forget, West Burb Wieners will be at the Great American Show next weekend. We will be running dachshund races both days. Dachshund mixes are welcome to enter races also. If you want to come and have your dog race we need your name, your dogs name and age. You need to be registered to bring your dog into the event. There will be no admission fee to get into the show if you are racing. You will have to pay for parking though.

You will have the chance to see if your dog could be the next Picasso by having them make a painting. Don't worry there will be no cleanup as they won't be touching the paint directly.

We will also be selling III Dachshund root b**r and variety packs, III Dachshund t-shirts, and many other items.

West Burb Wieners has some happy news and also some sad news. We would like to introduce Marvin, our newest board member. He is a four year old boy that we adopted from A Heart for Animals. Our sad news is that Khealey has gone to the bridge. She had been fighting a tumor behind one of her eyes. She was given 3-6 weeks. She fought and got 3 months. She was a rescue from Dachshund Haus out of Michigan. She had a beautiful day in the sun.
