Our goal is to rescue rehab and re-home Australian Cattle Dogs and Catahoulas. Our focus is saving them from euthanasia from the local and the surrounding shelters. The Australian Cattle Dog is a breed of herding dog originally developed in Australia for droving cattle over long distances across rough terrain. The Australian Cattle Dog is a medium-sized, short-coated dog that occurs in two main color forms.

Update: got the results back and there was nothing to be concerned about. So we are back to square 1. His vet wants to do more blood work and send it off. Before we checked his organs, red and white cell count and nothing to worried about. Honestly I was hoping they would find something so we knew what the next steps are.

I know I haven’t posted about Valor. He was doing really well, untiil about 2 weeks ago. A couple of Sunday ago, he spiked a fever, and he was looking bloated. And throwing up this white foam. I sent his vet a pic and we got him in the next day. We decided to put him on a low fat food and cut his food back, we also did X-rays and his colon was full of gas. That’s the reason we put him on a low fat Incase things in his gut have slowed down. My vet came out and vaccinated some dogs and saw valor he still seemed uncomfortable and I didn’t want to give him any nsaids, we decided to give him a shot of ketamin which is safer then tramadol or rimadyl with his stomach issues. That helped him. Then on Tuesday he spiked another fever, I called they got him in, he was a bit dehydrated, so he has about 1300cc of fluids, got an injection of cerina, we had to wait on the pain injection Ashe had a fever of 103.6. We waited 24 hours I took him back for a follow up and he got his pain shot. He goes in tomorrow for an ultrasound. To say me and his vet team is worried is an understatement. He has lost 2 pounds, which we don’t want him to lose any.

Please pray that they don’t find anything that is not fixable.
