Earthworks Acupuncture is an advocate for transforming alternative healthcare to become affordable and accessible. We are a co-collaborative healing space that supports mutual aid and wellness, collectively. We not only anticipate providing Chinese acupuncture and herbal formulas to our communities near and far, but we also co-create multimedia “edu-tainment” and health literacy content, while networking with dynamic healing artists & professionals. We believe that taking an active role in your own health and well-being is very important, and necessary to educate and empower ourselves. We incorporate a wide spectrum of health and healing, from modern research, to traditional practices of competent care, so that we may enable broader community health and restoration. We’re building a better world, through our digitally shared content and connections, through our lens of ancestral wisdom, for all generations to like, share and enjoy. We’re here to help with the assist.

Welcome to Week 5 of your 6 Week Foundations of Traditional Chinese Medicine Course!

Did you know that TCM does not diagnose diseases in the Western sense? It identifies patterns — dynamic, functional states of the body system. Two people with the same Western diagnosis may have completely different TCM patterns, and therefore require completely different treatment. Two people with completely different Western diagnoses may share the same TCM pattern, and therefore respond to the same treatment approach.

This Week we’re taking everything we’ve learned from Weeks 1-4, and differentiating patterns of disease!
