Hi all, Kayden here👋

Walking into my first day of high school, I had no idea what the next four years would hold…. But I had the opportunity to walk into a classroom, meet my teachers, make friends, learn new things, and imagine a future for myself.

Looking back, those opportunities can feel so ordinary, but they truly aren’t 😭

This End of Year Campaign, we’re thinking about the students who are still waiting for their own first day of school. We want to help give 200 more students in Pakistan that opportunity 💛

Mrs. Venus Suleman serves as Associate for Academics at the Presbyterian Education Board. Her work is part of what helps create strong, meaningful educational experiences for students across PEB schools.

We’re especially grateful to celebrate Venus not only for her dedication to PEB, but for the care, wisdom, and heart she brings to the students and educators she serves!

Do you remember your first day of school?

The nerves. The excitement. Meeting your teacher for the first time. Walking into a new classroom and wondering what the year ahead might hold…

For many of us, these memories are part of growing up. And looking back, we realize what a privilege it was to simply have that first day 🥲🩵

This year, through our End of Year Campaign, we want to help give 200 more students in Pakistan the opportunity to experience that same joy, to walk into a classroom, learn alongside their peers, and dream about what comes next.

What do you hope will continue because you were here?

Legacy planning is about more than finances. It’s about taking the values, people, and causes that matter deeply to you and thoughtfully carrying them into the future 🥹🩵

For some, that may mean making a plan to include Friends of PEB in their estate plans, helping sow seeds of opportunity that can grow in the lives of students and families for generations to come.
