Pampered POMS Rescue This is a page for my rescue. We take dogs, mostly poms that would otherwise be taken to the shelter.

We are a 501c3 non profit organization that provides rescue for dogs & cats who need homes. Primarily for the breed of pomeranians, but occasionally others who need urgent care. We take them, do whatever they need, medical, training, etc, and find the perfect home. We exist solely on donations, and appreciate every dollar we get from caring individuals. The animals stay at our grooming facility until they get adopted.

This is what 17 looks like. Many of you know FOXEY, she was the first pom in this rescue. I kept her. She is my eldest canine child and forever my "baby girl". She turned 17 on 9-09. She was diagnosed with kidney disease two years ago. The vet said she had about 3 months and she would stop eating or throw up. My vet knows I would never feed science diet or royal whatever, that's full of corn and fillers. She said to get her on a phosphate binder. I did that. I researched foods that can help her (or to stay away from). I learned raw eggs are bad and cooked are fine. Beef is bad. She has eaten raw most of her life, and I am a big believer in supplements. I have researched canine nutrition most of my life. My dream is become a canine nutrition coach but the cost of my certification was just too much. My dogs get the very best. She had a scare a while back with vertigo and responded well to meds. She had a dental and lost 18 teeth. She is a trooper. I know she won't live forever, so every day is a gift. I am thankful her quality of life is good. When that stops I will do whats best for my friend. I just wanted to share what 17 can look like. She is my #1 canine bestie!

We had an adoption today. I kept it secret because I had the perfect home in mind. I didnt even have to advertise her. As soon as I met her I knew the people who would cherish her. She was found running the streets. No chip or ID. Fleas. Mats. Allergies. Scared and lonely. We took her in and got her healthy. Spayed and vaccinated. She is only about a year old and needed someone who could take the time to train her right. She stole my heart and I wanted to keep her. My job is to find a home that can give her more than I could. Where she is loved forever. Mila hit the jackpot today! May you be healthy and happy and come see me often. I miss you already. The house is so quiet.

Buddy is still with us. Looking for the perfect home.
He is 10 yrs old. Wears a belly band. Had a head injury years ago and it changed his voice. He has a very unique bark. He loves everyone buy prefers women. He needs to be the center of attention. One other small dog would be ok.

Here is another Pom who needs a new home. He is in St. Louis, MO

Koda is a 9 year old male with no known health issues. He is a very energetic boy that you would think is still a 3 year old dog. He loves his toys and plays fetch as long you will let him. Koda has some barking and marking issues that our family can no longer help with as we have two young children.

He is incredible with kids and his barking can be helpful if you want an intruder alarm. Unfortunately we do not have the time or money to have him trained and the barking has become too much for our family as naps ( we have babies) have become very difficult when trying to keep him calm. He may need to wear a belly band, but in a new home he may be ok.
If youre interested, fill out an application.

He’s a good dog and it will be sad to see him go, but we want him to go to a home that he can be the center of attention and get lots of playing time.

💗 Rest in peace, Dolly Parton.

Dolly was one of those rare people who seemed to make the world feel a little brighter just by being in it. Beyond the music, the sparkle and that unmistakable personality, she had such a huge heart — for people, children, and animals. 🐾

I’d like to think there were plenty of little furry faces waiting to greet her on the other side. 🌈✨

Thank you for the music, the laughter, the kindness, and for showing the world that you can be larger than life and still lead with love.

Rest easy, Dolly. 🤍
With love,
Pommy Mommy 🐾💕

Meet Daisy 🌼
Daisy is a sweet 5-year-old, 15-lb Pomeranian who was rescued from a breeder about 18 months ago. She has come an incredible way and is now potty trained, crate trained, fully vaccinated, and loves being part of a family. She does great at the vet and groomer and is generally a quiet, easygoing girl. Daisy has a lingering cough from previously untreated kennel cough and takes prednisone twice daily. She would do best as the only small dog in her forever home. Daisy has worked very hard learning how to be a dog, and now she’s ready to find her person. ❤️
