AVANCE-Austin AVANCE walks alongside children and caregivers in primarily communities to achieve social and economic justice.

Our signature Parent-Child Education Program (PCEP) focuses on serving Spanish-speaking families with children between birth and three years of age. During the calendar school year, we provide 27 weekly classes, for 4 hours each. Classes for the parents include parenting instruction, educational toy making, ESL, and resource sharing from the community. While parents are participating in class, the

ir children are being cared for in an adjacent class space that offers early learning modules and age-appropriate learning with a focus on play, pre-literacy, and school readiness. PCEP also includes food, transportation, and monthly home visits to assess the progress of each family and to refer specialists, if needed. Activities take place within elementary schools and community centers located in Central Texas. For more information, check out our website at www.avance-austin.org.

At AVANCE-Austin, we believe every child deserves to be celebrated, not just on one day, but every day they walk through our doors.

We celebrate all 579 children coming through our programs this year. And the amazing families and caregivers who love and nurture them.

We offer engaging hands-on activities, story-times and sing-alongs, home visits, developmental screenings, and many resources and connections to partnerships that ensure every child has the support they need to grow and thrive.
