It's hard to believe that 2 weeks have passed since the conclusion of our 27th season. May we all carry with us the lessons we've learned, the friendships we've made, and a deepened love for the art of opera. We at La Musica Lirica are truly grateful for our dedicated, passionate teaching artists, sublime staff, superb students, and our Italian partner organization, Voci nel Montefeltro. We all worked together to create operatic art of the highest caliber. Grazie di cuore. Alla prossima!✨️

During the final week of the program, La Musica Lirica's students were treated to masterclasses by four of our esteemed faculty members. Andrew Garland, Brygida Bziukiewicz Kulig , Pietro Billi and Kristin Roach worked with students in the areas of technique, interpretation and operatic tone production. Many thanks to all!

Special thanks to vocal coach extraordinaire Craig Rutenberg for presenting two phenomenal days of masterclasses for our students. As a pianist and coach, Mr. Rutenberg has worked with some of the top singers in the world, as well as within the most renowned companies and festivals, including the Metropolitan Opera, Glyndebourne Festival, and the San Francisco Opera, to name a few. His depth of knowledge and experience within the opera world is second to none, and we are beyond grateful to be able to bring this caliber of artist to work with our students.

Maestro Rutenberg, it was an honor of the highest degree. Grazie di cuore.

Enjoy part of this delightful duet from Puccini's La Rondine. Will Ruggero and Magda find their "happily ever after," or will their love be fleeting like the migration period of a winged swallow. You're invited to come and find out tomorrow evening, July 12th, within the bucolic setting of the Villa Torlonia in San Mauro Pascoli.
