Calling all volunteers! Our neighbors in Kerr County need our help.

The Southwestern Texas Synod is hosting a Volunteer Work Day for Kerr County Flood Recovery. Join us as we help our community recover and rebuild. All skill levels are welcome—just bring a willing heart and a desire to make a difference!

Event Details:
Dates: Friday, August 21 & Saturday, August 22

Time: 8:00 AM (Volunteers will meet here first, then disperse to job sites)

Meeting Spot: 98 Coronado Dr. N, Kerville, TX 78028

Job Sites: Exact locations in Kerr County will be provided to registered volunteers.

What We'll Be Doing:
Debris Pick Up: Helping remove debris from yards, driveways, and roads.

Muck & Gut Homes: Helping homeowners by mucking out and gutting flood-damaged homes.

Today, we celebrate Deacon Darcy on her 8th anniversary of serving on the staff of the Southwestern Texas Synod!

Deacon Darcy has been a delightful gift to our synod. Her faithful leadership, deep care for God’s people, wisdom, creativity, and commitment to the work we share have blessed congregations, leaders, and ministries across Southwestern Texas.

Thank you, Deacon Darcy, for your faithful service, and for all the ways you help us keep becoming the church God is calling us to be!

Your incredibly generous gift of a trailer to the Southwestern Texas Synod is truly bringing "New Life" to this trailer. We are thrilled to announce that it will now become a vital tool for our disaster response program, serving as our new Mobile Refuge Resources Trailer.

As we work to build resiliency and preparedness across our communities, the possibilities for how this trailer will serve those in need are endless. As our Synod resources continue to grow, we all grow together to support one another!
