Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Cancer Support Community Southwest Colorado.

After 14 incredible years of leadership, our founder, Toni Abbey, is stepping down as Executive Director. What began in 2012 as Blueprints of Hope has grown into a compassionate community where thousands of individuals and families facing cancer have found support, connection, and hope.

Toni's vision, heart, and unwavering dedication have shaped this organization into what it is today. We are endlessly grateful for the legacy she leaves and the countless lives she has touched along the way.

As we celebrate Toni's extraordinary impact, we are also excited to welcome Michelina Paulek, MSN, RN, as our new Executive Director. With her background in nursing, nonprofit leadership, education, and community outreach, Michelina brings both experience and a deep commitment to ensuring that no one in Southwest Colorado faces cancer without support.

While leadership is changing, our mission remains the same: providing professionally led, no-cost support, education, and resources for individuals and families impacted by cancer.

Please join us in thanking Toni for her remarkable leadership and welcoming Michelina as we begin this exciting new chapter together. 💜

We couldn’t say that better! Congratulations to the Princess of Wales!💕🙏

Princess Kate just completed her toughest challenge yet 💙⛰️ The royal mom of three, 44, conquered Britain's gruelling National Three Peaks Challenge, finishing a 23-mile mountain climb in under 24 hours to raise money for London's Royal Marsden hospital, where she received cancer treatment.
Reflecting on the journey, Kate said it was about "exploring life beyond diagnosis," adding a poignant message for others facing cancer: "You are not alone" 🤍
