Adoption Events are held on the *first and third Saturday of each month* at Centinela Feed & Pet Supplies in Mar Vista. Please stop by and meet our available dogs!

Forte Animal Rescue offers refuge for homeless dogs until they are placed in their permanent homes. In order to successfully rescue and place

the dogs with new families, we rely solely on donations. Once a dog is under our care, we never give up on any dog regardless of behavioral issues or medical challenges, which often means we incur significant expenses for veterinary treatment, behavioral rehabilitation, and boarding for dogs who take more time and care to adopt out. Forte also offers a structured Junior Volunteer program with hands-on experience, run by a certified high-school teacher. We are dedicated to inspiring compassion and educating the youth about the animal protection. Many children are learning the importance of spay/neuter and proper care of the animals while volunteering with us, and some are so inspired that they have decided to become veterinarians. Donations or any support is always greatly appreciated. Donations can be made online (www.FARescue.org) or via regular mail at PO Box 10085, Marina del Rey, CA 90295. We are also looking for foster homes for our rescued dogs, along with volunteers to help our adoption events.

Happy Memorial Day! 🎉 Looking forward to another busy summer holiday schedule, we have adjusted our Saturday adoption events to make it easier for you to come and meet our amazing adoptable dogs! While we usually hold events the first and third Saturday of each month, we have shifted to the below dates.

When my “owner” (someone who failed to be my guardian) was planning to abandon me at the pound, a kind foster mom stepped in and brought me to Forte. Now I’m searching for someone who will never give up on me—someone I can love for life. My perfect day includes a car ride with the windows cracked just enough to sniff the breeze, a stuffed toy to carry around, and a cozy spot right next to you. I might take a little time to get to know new people, but once I do, my affection is deep and lasting. I also love playing with other dogs, so I’d be thrilled to have a canine buddy.

Hi! My elderly human is no longer able to take care of me, and although I miss her very much, I am excited to meet my new family. I am a happy, sweet, affectionate girl who loves walks, car rides, toys, snuggles, and kisses. I have a gentle nature and love curling up close to my person. Sometimes I bark if I hear a loud noise—it is just my doggo nature—but I calm down very quickly. I especially love sleeping beside my human and even sneaking under the covers. 🐕
