St. Sophia's Forgotten Felines Providing Temporary Care for Cats in Transition Our Purpose:

St. Established in 2010 and operated by dedicated volunteers, St. Sophia's help.

Sophia's Forgotten Felines is a foster-based cat rescue serving DuPage, Cook and surrounding Chicagoland communities. Sophia's strives to be the best in temporary care for cats in transition, whether abandoned, abused or surrendered. More than 6,000 cats have been rescued, rehabilitated and found forever homes with St. Visit the organization's new adoption center, located at 525 W Roosevelt Rd in

Wheaton, or check out www.stsff.org for more details on available cats, foster information and volunteer opportunities.! Our Cats:
Our cats come to us through transfers from high-kill shelters. We work closely with Cook and DuPage county animal controls, along with other animal controls throughout the state to give unwanted cats a second chance. We pride ourselves in taking the time and effort to determine what is best for each cat that comes into our care. We are a no-kill and all of our cats are fully vetted (altered, vaccinated, and microchipped) prior to adoption. If you are interested in adopting your new family member, you've come to the right place! Our People:

The Board Members of St. Sophia’s Forgotten Felines have over 25 years of service in feline welfare combined. They come from various backgrounds including marketing, publishing, business, web-design, librarianship, and more.

🐾WORLD CAT DOMINATION DAY UPDATE 🐾
The cats have made significant progress. Evidence collected over the past five days includes:

🐱 Taking over office chairs before humans can sit down
🐱 Screaming for breakfast as though breakfast has never been served before
🐱 Demanding treats immediately after receiving treats
🐱 Occupying freshly folded laundry
🐱 Convincing otherwise reasonable humans to rearrange their schedules

We would like to thank everyone who has already supported our World Cat Domination Day campaign. Together, we've been helping provide food, medical care, transportation, and second chances for cats who need a safe place to land.

If you'd like to join the effort, you can help here:

The cats remain optimistic about their chances of total world domination.
Frankly, so do we. 👑🐾

🚨 OFFICIAL NOTICE 🚨
The cats have informed us that World Cat Domination Day is approaching on June 24. We would like to reassure the public that the situation is completely under control. The cats would like to remind us that they control the food bowls, the blankets, the windows, and most of our daily schedules.
As part of our World Cat Domination Day campaign, St. Sophia’s Forgotten Felines is raising $500 to help support the cats currently relying on us for food, medical care, transportation, and second chances.
If you would like to assist the feline leadership in their ongoing efforts, you may do so here: https://share.gblox.org/5LG316
In the coming days, we will continue to provide important updates regarding suspicious feline activity, expanding territorial control, and the status of human negotiations. Stay vigilant. 👑🐾

🚨 URGENT FOSTERS NEEDED, especially for mama cats & kittens 🚨
We are full. Completely full. And we need your help right now.
Our director is receiving desperate emails every single day from individuals and animal control agencies across Illinois and surrounding states. These are not low priority requests. These are mamas giving birth outside, tiny kittens with nowhere safe to go, and situations where time is running out fast.
And right now, we are having to say no.
Not because we do not want to help, but because we have nowhere for them to go.
💔 There are cats we could save today if we had just a few more foster homes.
We are especially in need of fosters who can take:
🐾 Mom cats with nursing kittens
🐾 Young litters that need a safe, stable environment
These families do not need anything fancy. They just need a quiet, safe place to land. We cover supplies, medical care, and support every step of the way. You just open your home.
Every time someone steps up to foster, it directly saves lives. Without fosters, we cannot say yes. And when we cannot say yes, cats are left in unsafe, sometimes heartbreaking situations.
If you have ever thought about fostering, please do not wait. This is one of those moments where it truly matters. Even one open space can mean an entire family gets rescued instead of turned away.
Apply here- https://stsff.com/volunteer/foster/
If you can't foster, please share. The more people who see this, the more lives we can still save. 🐾

What a weekend! Ten adoptions and so many happy families. But guess what? We are not done. Our kittens got their workouts in today at yoga and they are officially stretched, centered, and ready to relax in the sun in our trailer tomorrow at Phillips Park in Aurora from 9 AM to 1 PM. Our trailer will be full of black kitties and brown tabbies who are more than ready to meet their people.

Come meet them, fill out an application, and maybe leave with a new family member or two. https://stsff.com/adopt/application/
